What is the Viper 2.0?
The Viper 2.0 is a CE-certified full-gauntlet motorcycle glove made from full-grain leather, priced at ₹6,460 MRP inclusive of taxes and available in seven colourways. It is designed for track riding, sport touring and off-road use. Protection comes from Knox impact armour at the knuckle and palm slider, a carbon fibre knuckle guard, and a reinforced palm slider that guards the scaphoid bone on impact. Closure is a wrist strap plus cuff velcro, and the fingertips are touchscreen compatible.
Who is the Viper 2.0 for?
Riders who want maximum hand coverage. The gauntlet cuff extends over the jacket sleeve and seals the wrist, which is what you want at track speeds and on longer sport-touring runs. If you mostly ride in city traffic and take your gloves on and off frequently, the shorter Fur 2.0 is the more practical choice.
How does the ventilation work?
Perforated leather panels sit across the back of the hand and fingers to move air through the glove on long rides. The perforation is a compromise: it keeps hands cooler in Indian summer conditions than a solid leather glove, but it is not a waterproof construction. For monsoon riding, the Dry Gloves line is the correct product.
